The Super Bowl Sale
A big "Thank You" to everyone who stopped by on Super Bowl Sunday to take part in big sale! As you can see, I was really trying to get into the spirit by wearing my Football jersey, even though the Patriot's were not in the game.
There was a terrific turnout of quilters who had lots of fat quarters to choose from:
For those who wanted fabric off the bolt, there was a great cutting crew:
With all the snow we've had this winter, it was great to see so many quilters brave the weather and come to the shop. Thanks for making my first Super Bowl Sale really Super!

What’s New at the Shop
Congratulations to the Tewksbury Piecemakers for another successful quilt show last weekend! It was a wonderful display of talent. Thank you to everyone who stopped by the shop on Saturday after visiting the quilt show. It was great to meet so many new faces.
The shop continues to grow as I have new fabrics and patterns arriving daily. Recently, I added a great pattern for quilted placemats. The outer border does double duty as the finished edge. No additional binding required! They go together quickly and are great for holiday decorating.
Also in the shop are 3 seasonal patterns from The Wooden Bear, featuring a pumpkin, a Santa and a Snowman. These mini-quilts measure only 12 inches square, and look great displayed on a small quilt stand.
Just this week I received this luscious line of fabrics from Timeless Treasures, called “In Bloom”. I know this one will be strong seller, and I already have several kits available to make the pattern shown.
A lot of my customers have asked about classes. The following classes are currently being offered at the shop, and more are in the planning stages.

I know a lot of people don't check this blog as I am very new to this way of communication. I am so very glad to have you here.
I am in the process of convincing my husband that I should move my business out of our home and into a brick and mortar. The costs and uncertainties are enough to scare my husband while I'm so very ready to expand and work my business in public.
If you do read this PLEASE VOTE for me at officialsponsor.com under the arts & crafts section. My name is Maryann R "passionate quilt teacher" . Thank you! It would help so much.

I am still getting used to this "blogging" thing, but have a feeling that when I have it mastered, the technology will all change. Anyway, My son & I are working diligently to have the website up and running. It is so exciting for me.
My progress has been slow on the "please don't eat the daisy" quilt but I may have to finish it up today. I need to work on my youngest son's teacher quilt. It needs to be delivered in a few weeks!
I will check in either tonight or in the morning to update you on my progress.

It's Thursday morning and students are pulling into the drive way for class. I've been swamped with cleaning up sewing room as well as preparing my new Website - special thanks to my oldest son - Bruce. Anyway, I've been working on a quilt called "please don't eat the daisies" a log cabin with stars in the sashing. Its been alot of fun until I realized that I had my half square triangles going the wrong way! UUUUGGGGGGHHHHH! Anyway I have to start class.
